Events
Future Kings understands the importance and need for involving its students in activities that are outside the classroom. We also understand the importance of serving our community. In addition to our workforce development program, Future Kings sponsor two major events each year that are designed to make a positive impact in our community.
This year's two community events are designed for both the girls and boys who live in our community. The first is our 11th Annual Scholarship Gala which will be held on April 26, 2025. 11th Annual Scholarship Gala
This event is a scholarship fundraiser. This year's event will be held on April 26, 2025 at the Foxchase Manor. The Foxchase Manor is located at 8310 Chatsworth Dr, Manassas, VA 20109. The funds raised are used to provide college scholarships to graduates of the Future Kings program. This event is our largest annual fundraiser. Funds raised support us in our work of creating an engaging environment that is designed to result in a workforce pipeline of 1,000 young men each year who are from economically challenged households and living in underserved communities. Our work is a multi-year program that prepares male adolescents of color for lucrative careers in STEM professions.
This Gala supports us as we build a results-based organization that is designed to prepare 150 young men each year from our target demographic to receive scholarships to HBCU’s so that they can pursue STEM education.
This evening is a fundraising event that is designed to support the work being performed by the Future Kings organization in support of these young men. The evening is designed to be a night to remember, headlined by an important and inspiring keynote address from a keynote speaker. This year's Gala features a keynote address by Dr. Henry McKoy Jr. Dr. McKoy serves as Senior Advisor to the Undersecretary for Science and Innovation at the U.S. Department of Energy.

Google Cybersecurity Professional Career programs
Future Kings is partnering with Google to provide training for the Google Cybersecurity Certificate. Training is intense and conducted in an after-school setting. Training will be conducted at Champe High School, Manassas Park High School, and the WISH Development Center. Students attending those organizations are eligible to participate in the program for free.
