Cybersecurity
Cyber’s Future is a community-based cybersecurity education program designed for middle- and high-school students interested in protecting and defending against cybercrime. The program instills responsibility, ethical decision-making, confidence, emotional intelligence, and practical knowledge.
Students gain proficiency in each area of the cybersecurity framework through participation in adult-level information technology and cybersecurity core certfication training with CompTIA:

In addition to CompTIA’s content, we introduce real-world business and cybersecurity concepts from the beginning. Students gain employability and entreprenuerial skills to help prepare them for college and the workforce.
Program Designers
Cheryl Abram & Dr. Wesley Phillips
Cheryl Abram, is a cybersecurity strategist, consultant, instructor, curriculum developer, researcher and policy analyst.
Dr. Wesley Phillips is the Cybersecurity Operations Manager and Incident Response Lead for a government agency. He is a former federal agent and officer and Marine Corps veteran. He is also the winner of the Outstanding Cybersecurity Training & Curriculum Award of 2021.
